"Cooking with Tea" Class

Tea is magical!  Join Chantilly proprietor and Chef Jenny Basandrai on a "cooking with tea" journey.  Featuring discussion and demos, you will explore the many ways in which tea can be used in cooking.  From marinades, as a flavoring/spice to glazes and rubs, once you start experimenting with tea it's like discovering a whole new world of cooking ingredients.  Everyone will make their own  tea-infused dry marinade packets to take home. Participants will get to enjoy a "tea-infused" meal based upon  the featured recipes as well as tea-infused wines.  $60.00 per person includes the class and the luncheon meal.

 "Gourmet Tea Drinks" Class

Join Tamara and Chef Jenny as they instruct through discussion and demos about creative ways of serving tea-infused drinks--both hot and cold, with and without liquor.  Have fun sampling all of the creations to find your favorites.  Participates will enjoy appetizers and tasty treats.  $60.00 per person includes the class and the food.

"The Perfect Scone" Class

Tamara and Chef Jenny will be conducting a cooking class about the techniques for making the "perfect scone."  Through discussion, demos, and hands-on, you will learn about the traditional "classic cream" scone, as well as some of our favorite variations and such fun creations as the Bisconi and CinnaScone.  Participates will also get to enjoy a two-course tea with tea sandwiches and scones hot from the oven with all the delicious condiments.  Each person will take home about a dozen scones to enjoy later with their favorite cup of tea.  Due to being hands-on this class is very limited in size.  $55.00 per person includes the class and the afternoon tea.
